From 10th to 13th November, 2011 Jūrmala City Council in cooperation with Tourism Development State Agency representatives in Finland and Sweden, as well as with resort hotels  "Hotel Jūrmala Spa" and  "Baltic Beach Hotel", and health tourism company „Nordmed tour” took part in the largest health tourism exhibition in Stockholm "Allt Hals for 2011".

On October 25th, 2011 Jūrmala City Council in cooperation with the airline "airBaltic" held a health tourism workshop in Tel Aviv.Jūrmala tourism workshop was opened by the Latvian Ambassador to Israel Mārtiņš Perts and the chairman of Jūrmala City Council Mr. Gatis Truksnis.Tourism workshop presented health tourism offer of Jūrmala resort, as well as tourism and tourism facilities investment projects

On October 20th, 2011 in Oslo, Norway a workshop by the Norwegian Association of professional tourism companies took place. Jūrmala is actively carrying out different tourism marketing activities in Norway – participating in Norway’s tourism workshops, working with Norwegian tourism companies and mass media, as well as implementing different other activities like traditional edition of Jūrmala’s tourism brochure in Norwegian language to attract tourists from this country.
