From 10th to 13th November, 2011 Jūrmala City Council in cooperation with Tourism Development State Agency representatives in Finland and Sweden, as well as with resort hotels "Hotel Jūrmala Spa" and "Baltic Beach Hotel", and health tourism company „Nordmed tour” will take part in the largest health tourism exhibition in Stockholm "Allt Hals for 2011".
On the exhibition different printed materials will be available: Jūrmala's brochure in Swedish, special offers for winter season, resort and SPA hotels' SPA programs with discounts.
In 2010, Swedish tourists accounted for 4% of all tourists. Jūrmala each year issue tourism brochure „Jūrmala” in Swedish. Successful cooperation is carried out with Tallink ferry line „Riga – Stockholm” and airline „airBaltic”. This year Jūrmala participated in health tourism workshop in Stockholm, and several Swedish journalists and tourism companies were hosted in Jūrmala. In 2012 Jūrmala will participate in tourism exhibition "TUR 2012" in Gothenburg, in Latvia’s tourism stand. In order to work out complex tourist offers for Swedish tourists, as well as have new articles and TV stories about Jūrmala, also in year 2012 Jūrmala City Council will host representatives of mass media and tourism companies
